James Atthey Golf Academy are very proud of their association with Derek Slack Motors who are an extremely supportive sponsor, enabling us to run the Derek Slack Motors Junior Masters Tour.
The Derek Slack Junior Masters Golf Tour 2019, is well under way with two competitions already played out of the four and is played in competitions throughout the year, open to any junior (in three age groups), played on the fabulous par 3 course, without the use of handicaps.
Points are awarded as well as trophies, and medals to each participant, at all four competitions (held in February, April, May and Ocober), and these are tallied up, with 3 from 4 scores used to give a grand total. A Scholarship Scheme for the top 2 juniors in each age group is awarded following the final Order Of Merit standings, with these juniors winning both individual coaching programmes and memberships of the driving range facilities.
The Scholarships are to be used throughout the next season and are designed to develop the skills of these talents youngsters further.
